Strategic Communications

Simply put, strategic communications is all about setting goals for communication and creating a road map to achieve those goals.

By way of example, let's say you're a nonprofit organization seeking to create an awareness campaign around a certain issue. If you were to work with us, we'd start by meeting with you to ask you some very important questions: Who are you trying to reach? What is the message you are trying to communicate? How do you plan on reaching people? How many people do you hope to reach?

Then, we'd work together to develop a road map for achieving your goals. These "road maps" are often called communications plans, strategic communications plans, or communications strategies.

What do communications plans include? In addition to an outlining of communications goals and strategies, they often outline multimedia assets that must be developed (i.e. a video, website, branded social media channel, etc.) and how those assets will work in harmony with one another to achieve your overarching goals.
